SURAT CHEMICAL TAG:
A standard solution of chelant is used to titrate the hardness in the sample. The indicator changes from red to blue at the titration end point. We offer a variety of hardness test kits including total, calcium, and trace with powder and liquid indicators.

Just like pHand total alkalinity, it's important to keep the calcium hardness balanced to prevent your pool water from becoming corrosive or scaling.
The fast and easy use of powder reagents has made them extremely popular for water testing applications in many countries throughout the world.
CALCIUM HARDNESS INDICATOR optimum lime dosage for removing calcium hardness was found to be mg CaCO3 equivalent to 1.00 mL EDTA titrant at the calcium.
