Pickling Paste Neutraliser is a alkaline solution for the neutralisation of acidic pickling waste. It contains an in built pH indicator to provide a visual colour change when neutralisation of spent acidic waste has been completed.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Pickling Paste Neutraliser is an alkaline solution so that contact with skin and eyes is avoided. Wear eye goggles and appropriate protective clothing. If the product comes in contact with the skin immediately wash affected area thoroughly with water and soap. Seek medical attention in the event of irritation. If required remove and rinse contaminated clothing.
If the product comes in contact with the eyes, immediately hold the eyes open and wash with fresh running water. Ensure irrigation under the eye lids by occasionally lifting upper and lower lids. If pain persists or recurs, seek medical attention.

Pickling Paste Neutraliser allows users of pickling paste and other acidic metal treatment products to comply with pH requirements of trade waste water regulating authorities.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1) Neutralisation of retained acidic waste For every litre of spent pickling waste, add approximately 1.7 litres of Pickling Paste Neutralizer. The Pickling Paste Neutralizer on contact with the spent acid waste will go clear. Keep on adding Pickling Paste Neutraliser solution till a faint pink coloration exist.
If neutralisation has not occurred with the initial dosage, then add additional quantities of Pickling Paste Neutraliser at 100ml per litre of waste until colour change is observed.
2) Diagnostic Use After washing the pickling gel away and while still wet, spray thePickling Paste Neutraliser solution directly onto the area where the pickling gel was applied, in particular in corners and crevices. If residual acid is present an effervescent reaction will occur. Flush with water thoroughly once the effervescence has stopped.
Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
